Client Services
Managing the flow of information from clients to agencies
and directing the workflow are critical to ensure that
objectives are reached. That’s why Tech Image
hires account managers who have also worked client-side,
directing marketing or communications activities for
companies. We understand your internal needs and the
problems that can be encountered in getting a simple
copy approval. Account managers monitor trends and
competitive news, often assisting media relations specialists
with placement ideas as a result. There is a fine line
between administering and doing, however. If you are
hiring an agency to perform media relations, then account
management should be a fraction of the monthly time,
but it is time well spent.
Competitive Intelligence
You might know your place in your market, but do you
clearly communicate that position throughout your
efforts? A market evaluation audit can help determine
if your message is still appropriate for your current
market situation, by comparing a number of factors,
including messages and themes from competitors. Share
of voice can be determined through analysis of hits
and stories to provide a complete competitive landscape.
This data will be analyzed with an eye towards defining
differentiation, clarifying cluttered or muddy themes
and recognizing message opportunities.
Results Tracking
Once we have agreed upon the deliverables and expected
results, we prepare a tracking spreadsheet for you
that assigns and prioritizes various activities,
based upon target media. The account manager updates
this spreadsheet monthly to keep the program on track.
Tech Image also recommend tracking all sales leads
to help fine-tune your target media mix as the months
progress
Leveraging Media Coverage and Tracking Interest
To gain an even tighter gauge of media coverage and
its effect on the bottom line while leveraging your
media placements, Tech Image recommends sharing important
news about your company that has been published online
and in print with key constituents.
Each month, Tech Image will create a graphically appealing
e-mail newsletter that features the most prominent
placements generated by the PR program. This newsletter
is sent to your customers, prospects and “friends
of the program,” informing them of the most recent
media appearances and letting them view each one via
a one-click link directly from the e-mail to the published
placement.
This solution provides real-time reports of how many
people viewed each placement, who they were and how
much time they spent viewing the document, as well
as whether they clicked through to the main company
Web site. The information from this report helps determine
what types of stories are of greatest interest to prospects,
letting you refine your media relations efforts, as
well as qualifying hot leads for the sales staff. |
