Messaging Workshop
Tech Image focuses on placing you before the media. In
order to convert media meetings into media coverage,
however, you need to state a message that is brief,
understandable, and newsworthy to the target audience.
We help you hone in on the most important points,
and state them in a way that resonates with the media
and their audience. Working with your key personnel,
we discuss, debate, and detail each audience, what
their needs are, and how your products or services
address those needs. We then put it all together
into a matrix that serves as the core of the messaging
program. From there, we develop the elevator pitches
that provide a clear overview of the company, and
draw upon the matrix in developing press releases,
byline articles, and even interview statements. The
result is a message that’s targeted and consistent – and
one that builds momentum.
Media Coaching
Part and parcel with having the right message is the
ability to deliver it effectively. Tech Image developed
our own courseware that is especially relevant to
start-ups and technology companies. The interactive
session consists of an in-depth review of tips with
examples, followed by videotaped “mock” interviews
with possible questions, both soft and hard, to determine
answers so you are prepared for whatever the interview
may bring. This is followed with a second round of
videotaped interviews and more coaching that provides
suggestions on becoming a credible, confident corporate
spokesperson.
Strategic Positioning
Are you an established company that seems to be a best-kept
secret? Or are you a start-up that requires a larger-than-life
image in order to succeed? Regardless of your current
market position, Tech Image will help you determine
where you want to be, and develop the strategy to
help you achieve that goal. Editors and analysts
need guidance to properly position you against your
competition or in the correct application space.
If you don’t tell them clearly, then they can
accidentally position you incorrectly, confusing
your audience instead of educating it. We work with
you to clearly define market definitions and value
propositions that remove confusion. We also map out
a tight competitive landscape that places you where
you want to be, rather than where an analyst or editor
thinks you are. As situations change, we reevaluate
your positioning in order to assure it stays current
with the market and competitive conditions. |
