How long is your email headline?

According to Direct, Shorter Subject Lines Rule: MailerMailer … E-mail messages carrying subject lines of 35 characters or fewer significantly outperform those with more than 35 characters, according to a study released yesterday by MailerMailer.

There are other interesting stats as well about click-throughs and whose emails are most often clicked on (in this case, a prayer may help).  Worth sharing with clients if they have an email marketing program.
