What is Your Favorite Success Story?
While there isn’t a particular story, I think one of my successes is being a key member of the social media team here at Tech Image. I’ve had the chance to collaborate with great team members in initiating new social media tactics. These include pitching bloggers thought leadership articles for posting on behalf of clients, leveraging different platforms like Twitter to spread news and offer interviews to the media, creating best practices, and much more. It has been a tremendous experience to be part of this ever-changing social media landscape, and I am enjoying teaching myself new practices to improve on those Tech Image has already been experiencing success in.

What Are Your Hobbies and Interests?
I am both a writer and a rider. In my downtime, I love to write in all different forms, especially creatively. That’s where the writer in me lies. As for the rider, you could say I am both a rider of the waves and the snow. I picked up snowboarding quite a few years ago. Having been born and raised in the Chicago area, I shockingly picked up a passion for surfing that I began pursuing seven years ago. I also enjoy watching and going to Hawkeye and NFL football games, working out, being with friends and family, and spending time with my two teacup Yorkies, Rebie and Reese.

What Are Your Favorite TV Shows?
I typically watch crime shows like “Forensic Files,” “Dateline” and “48 Hours.” I also enjoy “Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives,” “Man vs. Food” and “Top Chef.” I’ll admit there’s some reality TV shows that I’ll indulge in, even though they are somewhat tacky. Weather depending, there’s also not a better way to spend a Saturday and Sunday than watching college football and the NFL.

What are some of the Last Good Books You Read?
I have enjoyed all of Alice Sebold’s novels, “Lovely Bones,” “The Almost Moon” and “Lucky.” I also really liked Sophie Hannah’s “The Dead Lie Down” and Emily Giffin’s series of books.

Who Are Your Favorite Recording Artists?
I like all different styles of music. I listen to everything from Frank Sinatra, Peggy Lee and Led Zeppelin, to Jack Johnson, house music and the current Top 40 Hits. I even enjoy some country music – I suppose that’s the Hawkeye in me.

Why Are You a Good Fit at Tech Image?
When I first came on board in January 2008, I was amazed to see that not a single person at Tech Image had a low level of motivation. I am a highly motivated person and strive for success, so I knew I would be a fit. I also have experience with social networking tools and bring a new perspective on social media to Tech Image. I appreciate the ability I have been given to continue learning about the landscape, and have enjoyed aiding in the implementation of new processes.
